HEALTH IS WEALTH….

‘Health is Wealth’ a popular proverb that’s often heard by us. This begins from school days, when teacher explains the importance of health to a student or at home parent to their teenager and of course, a doctor to a patient. Rather, isn’t it a universal say applied to all? The answer obviously is YES!!

However, amidst the current pandemic, this has become very relevant and essential for all. So when we talk of health focus has been on physical as well as mental health.

Today’s blog shall focus on the importance of physical health. In general sense, taking care of your health simply means if your health is fine, everything seems fine.

So, what’s the magic mantra for a good health? Let’s go in depth of it and see what best one can do to maintain a good health.

  • Step-1: Sleep plays a vital role for the body. Maintaining a sleeping cycle of at least 6 hours helps the body to function smoothly.
  • Step-2: Start the day with deep breathing exercises.This enables more air to flow into the body besides calming the nerves thus, reducing stress and anxiety.
  • Step-3: Opt for any physical exercise like brisk walking, jogging, cycling, or skipping for 30 minutes daily. This helps to have stronger bones & joints, flexible muscles and lowers the risk of any disease.
  • Step-4: Don’t skip meals. Meal must comprise of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Regular intake of meal, at proper interval helps the body to remain charged up.
  • Step-5: Eat Healthy.Experts say that eating greens and fruits inject the body with antioxidants which in turn boost the brain power.
  • Step-6: Avoid eliminating certain foods. Body requires diverse nutrition. Its bad idea to eliminate all salt, fat, and sugar from ones diets, unless advised by a family doctor. Choosing healthier options such as skim milk or low fat dairy products help to maintain a balanced diet.
  • Step-7: Maintain a healthy weight. Overweight leads to obesity and other psychological issues. So keep eating patterns consistent.
  • Step-8: Drink plenty of water during the day to keep the body hydrated and energetic. Intake of water can boost the metabolic rate.
  • Step-9: Keep habits simple! Be organised and active during the day.
  • Step-10: Go for yearly physical check-up. This helps to diagnose the health issues at an early stage. As rightly said ‘prevention is better than cure’.
  • Step-11: Lastly, Happiness Matters. Be Grateful, be in the moment, smile….

Health is a precious wealth of your life. Have it, you have it all!
